FAQs
Are the online courses delivered through this website? How?
A market-leading third party provider has been used to create and customise this website and the training platform. So I create and upload the content, and the third party facilitates you interacting with it. This allows for a reliable and premium learning experience, all under the Claritix brand. Any customer data is therefore also held securely by that provider.
There are lots of Excel courses out there, why should I purchase yours?
I believed there was an opportunity in the market for high quality content, with real thought and effort put in to make it challenging and realistic, and which was set in a commercial context.
A lot of content (not all!) has been created by people with a passion for Excel but not the commercial/business experience needed to make the course relevant and useful. They try to teach you everything, and in doing so water down the content to the point where it’s too simplistic, rather than focus on what you really need to know, looking at these areas from many angles.
Claritix courses are holistic and transformative. They offer to get you to a certain place and then deliver this by teaching all the things you REALLY need to know.
Whenever considering a course, always: Look through the course overview, research the creator’s background/experience, and check the course materials appear high quality, adequate and engaging.
How long do I have access to a course I purchase?
All courses have the option for 12 months access, whilst some also have a monthly option available. Please ensure you review the course checkout page before purchase to confirm this.
Participants can generally complete courses over a few days or couple of weeks, depending on their schedule, and then there is adequate time to refer back to the course over the following months as they put their learning into practice.
I want to learn Excel modelling - where should I start?
If you’ve identified you want to learn modelling, then chances are you’re not totally new to Excel...
If you feel you’re already an experienced user who is confident regularly utilising several key functions including INDEX & MATCH, SUMIFS, IF, AND & OR, tools such as Data Tables and Trace Precedents/Dependents, and a range of formatting techniques, then try the Excel Modeller course.
If you’re not totally confident with the above or feel you may benefit from some of the content in the Excel Analyst course overview, then start with this course first – it will teach a holistic set of tools, techniques and skills that are then further built upon in the Excel Modeller course.
If you’re completely fresh to Excel, perhaps starting out in your career, then you may want to start with Excel Foundations before progressing through Excel Analyst and then Excel Modeller.
Do you offer courses via Zoom etc?
We currently only offer this on the Power BI: Monthly Financial Reporting course to teams. Please get in contact for further details.
Or if you are an individual, then visit the pricing section of the Power BI course page for a link to our partner, the ICAEW ,where individuals can book onto the course we deliver.
What payment types do you accept?
All major debit/credit card types and payment options, including Visa, Mastercard and American Express.
Payments are processed through Stripe, a major third party payments provider.
