Existing Ability Level

No prior experience in Excel is required. Users identifying as Beginner to Intermediate are likely to benefit also.

What is Excel Foundations?

 

Excel Foundations will give newcomers and light users the confidence to apply the World’s most used business application to their daily work.

 

Whilst the course is aimed at anyone from around an organisation and encompasses a wide range of topics that are relevant to all. Whilst the learning can be challenging, it is certainly not overwhelming and there is ample support materials for anyone feeling stuck along the way.

 

The learning is set in a variety of commercial contexts that are realistic and challenging, but not overwhelming. This is through:

> Short video lectures and demos explaining the theory,

> High quality exercises to practice your new knowledge,

> Solution files & videos to check and recap your learning,

> Regular quizzes to test your knowledge.

About
Excel Foundations is aimed at new and beginner users of Excel from any part of the organisation, who want to develop a solid initial understanding of it's applications. The course covers the basics such as creating, saving and opening files, The Ribbon, basic functions, and how to create calculations, tables, graphs and Pivot Tables.

Result
Learners will develop a good grasp of a wide range of Excel functionality that they can immediately start applying in their daily role.

Format
The course consists of short video lectures covering the theory, challenging Excel-based exercises, solution files & videos to review the exercises and recap the learning, quizzes to test your learning, and supplementary materials to broaden your knowledge.

Requirements
Requires no prior experience in Excel.
